    Congrats again RBT. Very impressive.

It would look good on the chain, Mike. Then 20 years from now when I can maybe afford it, you can sell it to me on the cheap.

RBT- I have a lot of respect for Tom and Gordy, mostly as good people, but also for their ridiculous skills at fabrication/ rigging. You're one of the few people I've heard them pour out the compliments on your work. So I'm excited to see pics of the progress. Maybe send some parts to Tommy to drill holes in.

If I was to go the V-bottom route, that's a TUFF one to beat...

    Very nice piece-

That is a beautiful boat! What exactly makes it hybrid? And why not get a 24. Or the new 25? Just curious.

I see some subtle changes to the 24 deck to make it a 25...what will be different of the not "one of one" 25's that will have the new bottom? Is there a reason you wanted the 24 bottom or was it simply a matter of timing/tooling and that's what you could have built now?

from the Tuff Facebook page: "Here’s something very special: our One of One boat! This is a 24 bottom (that we used as a plug to make the new 25) and a new 25 deck. So it’s a half and half but it came out so cool and so custom, definitely a “one of one”. RBT I hope you like your new ride! The boat is off to rigging, and we all know Rob’s boats have the cleanest fit and finish"

I was at the Tuff factory last summer one day, and Mark said "this is where the magic happens" It was a wonderful phrase but I suspect its more hard work and smarts then magic.

Currently the boat is at Tomanytoys place for a cold wait till I can get my shop ready for the boat. I am waiting to return the boat to Tuff for interior installation. Then I will complete the rigging, and start the testing.
    Power will be 300XS.

Cockpit is 2 buckets and a bench. It is bigger than a Euro / Grand sport but not a lot. My boat and all 25’s have a deeper cockpit than the 24 did.
The cockpit is a lot deeper than both the Allison and euro.

Just curious why you went with the XS vs the new R ? Please keep posting pictures - exciting project for you.

The 300R gearcase and Tuff don't work as well the 300XS. 5.44 inch 300R case is GIANT Don't get me wrong, Id love the 300R but I going with what works best. I have other boats with Merc 4 strokes and love them.
I was considering Yamaha as well, Tuff has a few going that route and will be super exciting to see how they go.
