    gaffing gps speedo problems

I recently bought a group of used gaffrig gauges including a gps speedo. The previous owner said it was tested ok by gaffrig but needed anew antenna. I fortunately had a new livorsi antenna that I assumed would work. the gauge will acquire a gps signal but will not read more than 5mph. Any ideas.

I purchased a brand new Livorsi GPS with antenna in 2016 and it works fine. I called Mike at Livorsi as I wanted their new faster updating GPS unit thinking I would need to change just my antenna. I was told even though my current antenna and head are both 3 wire & both Livorsi... the antennas are not compatible/ interchangeable. I would need to purchase an entirely new head & antenna to get the faster updating GPS Speedo.
