Was hilarious living down there when one of the Yammi faithful on here kept posting that they never blow up.

Id post pixs of stacks of dead Yammi carcasses!

Rock, been there done that.
Cant bring myself to pay regular prices for used parts when I’m used to them being free!

Motors .. I try to get them from the marina service managers before they get loaded on a junk mans truck .. I mean, another junk mans truck ..

I won't mention any names, but people like Pratt + Whi ..

will take a sheet of 5' x 10' x 3" and cut two 4' O.D. x 3'8" I.D. circles out of it ..... and scrap the rest.

I don't know if it's an interdepartmental paperwork thing or what, .... but it's obscene to see what they throw away ...

When I get back from the recycler's, the Mrs. ask's how much did "we" get for "our" barrel of aluminum .. ????
I don't remember the exact amount, but I only added $10 bucks to get this here slab of billet ....

Love going to the scrap yard. Latest acquisition was a piece of aluminum cut in a circle 48" diameter 1 1/8" thick. Think I paid around a $100. When I throw something out it is scrap for sure.
