We need a updated Pro Max prop
When is Mercury going to make a 15” full hub Pro Max for the 4 stroke SM lower? I think it would be the bomb and much easier to tune and on the wallet than the 5 blades. Thoughts?

I like the full hub to help float the whole thing, and help get that big gear case out of the water. Just my 2 cents as I am pretty rookie level here coming from the race car world.

I hope soon. The 28 Bravo Fs has the large Hub works good with 300R Sportmaster. Went back to Torquemaster for smooth water Races better Speed. The 26 Furry large hub works the best good hole shot with Skier and Observer 86 mph. Downside I have thrown a blade on 3 props in 1 season. The 27 Trophy and 28 Promax run the same speed just to much slip with small hub holeshot and top end.
A 27 large hub Promax would be Perfect. Hill made me a 28 large hub 4 blade Cleaver best prop for top speed without Skier basically no slip
and no vent holes needed.

The Bravo XS' are 2-3 mph faster than a promax on my 300R TM.

Mercury just announced it yesterday at the show. Still a small hub, but 15" diameter. Sure looks like a ProMax, just a bit bigger.

If you look at it from the side it does not have promax/et style blades, they do not have the curvature. It looks like a small hub bravo with thicker blades to me. It could be the ticket though.

I have not even seen a pic. I would hope that they kept the premix style blades or improved them. If it is just a small hub Bravo I am out. I have three bravos currently

There's a link in Ziemer's post above that will lead you to a picture and description of the new prop.

Pretty sure the second picture is actually a ProMax. Lol.. It looks like a picture on a bass boat.

Why are there 6 versions of some pitches. Left hand , right hand, and what else?
One half inch increments in pitch is pretty fine. I don’t know if I could tell the difference between 1/2 of pitch. Not for me anyway, I live in a over hub world
