2.6 gt/XP Block or whole powerhead/motor wanted
Probably like looking for a gold hen's tooth. i'm in CT/RI area but will drive. I have a 83' 2.6 XP but previous owner did some pretty crazy porting to it and would like a nice stock one to rebuild. sleeves are $2200 installed for all 6 for this one so would like a block with enough room left for .040'' over max.

Try the Facebook groups dedicated to OMC hot rods - somebody will have one of these squirreled away. You could also just re-port a 235 to 2.6 specs - that's probably easier to find actually.

thanks Matt. The 2.6 liter 175-235hp blocks are getting hard to find, too! Can always find a 25'' motor for cheap i suppose and tear it down. cheers.
