Caldwell Marine which purchased Checkmate from Global Marine and moved the production to North Carolina has stopped production of Checkmate boats. I think they still own the molds and intellectual rights. You can purchase a 21 or 24 ft Persuader from Persuader boats in Bucyrus and that would be a Checkmate clone. The Checkmate dealer, Tinnus Marine, I have heard will take orders for a Persuader boat. I doubt there are any new ones in stock anywhere.
I own a 2020 Checkmate long deck 2400, with a 300R and it was the 2nd last boat built in Bucyrus, Ohio. I might sell mine in 2 years.

Persuader Boats in Bucyrus, Ohio will apparently build you a 21 or 24 ft "Persuader", which from the pictures I have seen looks like it came from the same mold as a 21 or 24 ft Pulsare.

Are the persuader model only available in I/o or also outboard?

You would have to get on their website and call them. The pictures I saw of the 21 and 24 ft molds appeared to be outboard versions, and I don't think Checkmate made any 21 or 24 ft Pulsares with I/O since in the last 15 years. According to Cooperider, you can order the Pursuader through Tinus Marine. If you go to their website, you can see the liner / top deck of a 24 ft Persuader, and it looks identical to the liner in my 24 ft Pulsare.

Now I understand. It’s a Persuader Brand not Persuader Model.

That's correct. Persuader Boats is in Bucyrus (same town as the original Checkmate factory). They have built mostly smaller performance boats for years, but now they are building 21 and 24 foot boats that look very similar to the Checkmate Pulsares. I think they are building one right now for a customer.

If you click on the link on the bottom there are many YouTube videos from Persuader boats. I think there is video that says something like 21 and 24ft. The picture below on the left is the liner of my 2400 long deck when it was being built. The picture to the right was the same liner when the boat was partially finished. I ordered it with the low seat pedestals so I would not have wind in the face. Look at the pictures on the Persuader website of the 24ft. Looks very similar to me, except it has the more standard high seat pedestals so you look over the windshield and wear glasses or goggles to keep the bugs out of your eyes!

Persuader is finishing a boat for a January 2023 delivery if I understood correctly. There will likely be pictures posted of it, but I believe it is a 24ft but not 100% certain. I only say that because I saw the picture of a liner and it looked like the liner on my 24ft Pulsare.
