1990 Saber 28 Offshore

1990 Saber 28 Offshore with twin 1998 Mercury 250efi, 25in shafts, I do not remember the exact hours but it was under 400 for each engine
All new IMCO hydraulic with electric assist steering
24” Gill setback brackets

Boat was built for outboards from the factory and used to race as Team Saber, so there is no cabin and just bare bulkheads up under the deck.

What it the top speed w/ the 250 outboards, Freshwater use or both?
Looking for a 28' w/ outboards. You know approx. weight of the boat w/ engines?

I’ve had it up to 64mph. There’s definitely more left it in, I just got around to messing with engine height or props. I’ve only ever used the boat in fresh water, but I bought the engines from someone on the coast of North Carolina, so there’s a decent chance they have seen some salt water in their lives. I never weighed it personally, but Doug from Saber estimated that the boat weighs 5k with rigging.

Are you flexible on price if possible? Top end was around 65 MPH @ what RPM's?

I’m open to a little negotiation, if interested, shoot me a PM and I’ll send you my number. I saw 64mph at the redline which is 5800rpm on these engines. It’s definitely under propped as it sits.

Did you ever receive my email about with my phone number? To answer your question here, the gauges are nothing special, just some older style Mercury ones.
