My first boat was a 60's OMC IO tri hull, never had another IO, all outboards since.

I'm embarrassed to say one of those boats full of nasty foam and the worst outdrive known to man was my first boat,

I worked at a marina on Lake Martin in the early 70's and that lake had a lot of the Johnson/Evinrude boats. I was more interested in the girls in the boats than the boats themselves!
