Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and Bell P-63 King Cobra Collide at Airshow

ouch, watched a King Cobra crash at a UK airshow once, extra ouch as I had never seen one so went to talk to the pilot and 10 minutes later he was gone.
Got a bunch of friends with war birds, nice but so dangerous.

This is a really sad accident. I used to go to republic airport (Farmingdale NY) to watch American Air Museum fly their planes to the Jones Beach Airshow on 4th of July. At the time (2006) they were offering 450.00 a seat flights on this B-17 during that show.

Yes, I grew up in Oshkosh... saw the warbirds at EAA many times, when it was the Confederate Air Force.
