I grew up doing this when I bought my first boat at 15 I grew up on the lake and drove it to a marina here on my Lake for 4 summers. Was 5 min by boat and 30 by car. Also at 15 drove it across the lake and tied up at a courtesy dock to walk up and catch the school bus.
