Thumbs up Louisiana Pasta (shameless plug)

If not allowed, go ahead and delete.

All the way from the "Big Easy".

BUT this pasta is SO GOOD!!! It is air dried so it has a different texture than the big commercial pasta companies.

Plus they make cool stuff like alligator, crawfish, and Fleur de Lis shaped pasta!!! Their sauce is right, and the Basil Pesto... be careful. It is strong!!!

I remember a grocery store in Metairie,La., called Dagostino's, my brother took me too. Incredible selection of foods, seasonings and sauces.

I would imagine it's the same family. I'll have to send that link to my brother who use to live there. He's a damn good cook himself.

EDIT: My brother corrected me, it wasn't Dagostino's it was Dorignac's.

If it is one thing that coonasses and Cajuns can do IS COOK!!!!

Is the Seafood Palace still going in Lake Chuck? That was my favorite.

My favorite Cajun food place in Lake Charles closed. I used to visit LC at least 3 times a year to fish. And of course buy boudin, sausage, boneless chickens, and fill 5 ice chests full of huge shrimp from a monger in Cameron.

As far as I know Seafood Palace is still going and you are right it is the best place in town for Cajun food. Incredible food and good prices.
