2016 150 4s efi Mercury high hours

25" motor with 5000 hours on it. It has been well taken care of including impeller, spark plugs, thermostat and belt being changed every year at a minimum and oil, oil filter, gear oil and fuel filter changed every 100 to 150 hours. 8 months ago I did a major service on it to verify it would get though this year with no issues while I waited for a new motor to be available from mercury. That service included injector cleaning (only the second time in its life if had that) and a compression test to match the flow of the injectors to the cylinders. The compression was from 173 to 180 psi and the injectors were within 2% after cleaning. The motor runs flawlessly now and is on a boat ready for a test drive if any local buyer wants to go out. halfway through this year I blew the lower unit up (cracked the pinion gear) so that was replaced with a brand new mercury lower. The lower unit was the only major issue I have had with this engine; other than that it has just had regular service items changed. Great reliable motor. Even when the lower went it still got me home, it was just ticking. Found out it had a cracked pinion tooth. Prop not included.
