So you are building a brand new boat and putting used, no longer available motors on it?

Hey I bought a new boat and put a used 300xs on it to save weight in the 300hp category.

That is a wild concept! Best of luck!

    Yes sir.

In Europe, Mercury Racing is a total fail (US market is probably 95% of what Mercury sell), this is a problem to get motors and a good communication with our retailers.

We tried the boat with 4 x 450R, but nobody is able to provide us CNC in 40-42, the hull is approx 3300 Lbs for a 36 and this is a new concept for a cat.
As you can see on the website, all the motors are not behing the boat to win in stability and don't make the cat fly in the sky (not a lot of people got the balls to put a cat more than 150 mph... The ones who have this balls put sometime a fatal price for it).

So we would like to go 2 strokes for testing the boat in the best conditions (morever there is no 15' in 4 strokes and mercury 360 APX gonna die soon, the F1H2O's boats don't handle them, they are too tall and the boats can't turn in race. The solution would be to make larger hulls, but with larger hulls then won't enter in containers to race all over the world... So Merc gonna come back on 6 cylinders for race boats for sure).

We have to check all options to don't pass with our retailers in Europe and get the props which could go with the boat.
