Should this be a federal offense? After all, it is a federal offense if you remove one yourself.

Damn crack and meth heads like James are to thank for this. They hit a Jackson, MS county and cut every one of them off their work vehicles. No telling what that that cost the tax payers.

I am wondering why there are not stricter regulations on "recyclers". The "sellers" (thieves) need a salvage license or something. I have had so much metal, cast iron and aluminum stolen from my farm... I figure $10,000 replacement value at least. And they probably were paid $500 at the most. And I have held metal thieves on my old farm at gun point while waiting on the deputies.
