LH rotation big bearing cases. Like a CLE or a Fishin case. It does not have the rear gear oil drain, correct?

I don't see a drain plug....I got it awhile ago & I thought that it would work with one of my CLE...but I wanted to be sure....and I can't find anything any where to verify that it will fit my units..Bam, Marine engines, Crowley ....it is a. Stout looking piece...HD....all I get is NLA....

That is the one. It will fit a cle as long as you have the oil drain screw in the front of the case cause the carrier does not have one...
I have another left had nos carrier if you need one. I believe I have a nos one without a drain screw and a used one with.

The ones without the drain screw fit the std. size propshaft, and the ones with the rear oil drain fit the larger diameter propshaft and gears. So...it depends on what gearset you have whether that carrier will work. But either one will fit inside that cle.

I looked this morning and there is no drain plug in the carrier....my shafts are the small ones...my case # is J86K801 back in the early 80's I had always raced inboard. GN boats.....sooooo. I didn't. really know how to throttle a four engine outboard....in four months I went through eleven lower units...spent a lot of time on the phone with Mercury engineers & @ Lake X with Swebby...super nice guy.....MERCURY as a result made a # of changes to their lowers for the better..I forgot to say that my left H lowers are locked in forward....
