stator test v200
hi guys i have a v200 black max and im testing the stator just the resistance tests and between the b/w and r/w i have 4230 ohhms and between the red and blue i have 4200 ohhms but the manual i have says should be 5400to6200?? and testing red to ground i have 72ohhms and r/w to ground i have 72 ohhms manual says 125-175? has anyone done this test on blackmax 200? are my figures ok? is the manual wrong? please help also my stator part no is 398-5454-a34. thank you

In my experience the ohm tests are almost a waste of time. Get a DVA meter to check output. What is the engine doing to make you check stator?

I agree with rock. Ohms are subject to temp and other factors. Variations are OK. The only real value in an ohm test is checking for shorts and opens.
