    Hurricane

Looks like some parts of Florida that missed out on Hurricanes for over 100 years are going to get it this time,

I'm going up the the St Johns river to look at property afterwards,

I would think - staying off it - unless your going to give a hand .
Slowing down and capturing the view - moving on must feel even more devastating . Let alone the unneeded traffic - creating wakes.
I hope it passes by without creating too many issues

Greg Lives in Cape Coral he is getting the worst of the worst, the right side of the EYE, I'm south in Naples and just have broken tree and palm branches

The trees by him will be sideways, everything palms, hardwoods will be all going one way, hope he has a generator, all our Publix supermarkets make their own power, very common to have a generator for piece of mind.

Dago looks like he may be dead center of the eye, the cool thing about being in the eye, is it's dead calm, you quickly go from all hell to tranquility.

    Ernie's McClaren & Rolls

Anybody see the story about "Ernie" watching his $1M Mclaren supercar float out of his garage along with his Rolls Royce? The McClaren ended up high centered on a toilet and the Rolls was atop a Honda and a bush. He shot video of the cars floating in his garage and it appears his garage walls were over 10 feet. All that $$$ and for "pocket change" he could have had two vehicle lifts installed, push a button and the cars would have been free and clear from a 4 ft storm surge?

Don't expect any help from FEMA. You know, the place where part of your tax money goes into a nest egg to help in disasters that Americans face from time to time.
Thru no fault of your own .. but, no matter how much you have "donated" .. you just don't have the "ek-widdy, see ma sayin" ..

Just curious, who's this? I'm real good friends with Ernie's dad in Savannah.
