    2L race block

    I got a old school. Don't know yr. It's a no paint 2l race block , has jj stamped on it. Chest is pretty open and exhaust port looks huge for 2L , can't tell if it's been ported ,without measuring but idk what stock measurements would b anyway, its a empty block that I'm about start working on any info on this would b greatly appreciated. Thanks. Can post pics if need to

    Is it a fat block? 2.0F1? 1750XS?

    need pics and more info there were a few rare 2.0’s

    Not necessarily for race, but they were from the very first v6 production engines. The 1750. Same engine that had 2 less exhaust divider plate bolts and the 2 ram power trim that the oil ran through the lower engine mounting bolts.

    Post a picture of the exhaust chest and of the sides of the block. Does it have behind-the-liner porting?

    is the "fat block" that folks refer to the 2.5 block with 2L sleeves? I've heard about those but never seen one.

    all 2.0 135's/150's (production mostly) from '91 up usually referred to as a "fat block".. its basically any block that looks like a normal 2.5 but is actually not.....

    I had one I sold earlier this summer. It was a 2.0 F1 Bridgeport and i was told it was nic. That's all I know for sure ! Lol

    don't think nic showed up till '90/'91 maybe?.. my earlier 2.4 BP's were chrome... so that might/might not come inta play........
