    Cool Wow

    Damn, just damn.

    >>>In this live performance SRV does some improv soloing. It's incredible!<<<

Man I kick myself for not going to see him when he use to come play at a local bar; before he made it big. I was around 19-20 years old.
I'd hear people say, You gotta go see this guy play.
I didn't like going to bars by myself and the friend I hit the bars with back then , who was a damn good bass player, would always say, Nah.

He and I really messed up not going to see them one of those times they were in town.

A former colleague of mine was at that show in Toronto. He raved about it and thats what turned me onto SRV. That man, could play like no other. He was the Eddie Van Halen of the blues. Sad loss he went too young. RIP Stevie

SRV version of Little Wing is arguably better than Hendrix's version (my opinion).

    SRV a guitarist's guitar player.

First chance I’ve had to sit down by myself to fully absorb what I knew was here.

Always been a SRV fan but after watching this video, but THE best guitarist ever!

Cant even imagine being at that concert.

Good music should move you, as it does me. I have

I love musicians that you can see are into their craft/music/concert.
I want to feel, sense their emotion.

Always hated the grunge/garage rock bands where they stared at their shoes while playing!
Like they were working at McD’s and hated their job!

    When a musician is in a zone, playing/singing w/his eyes closed…., I am there w/him!

    Thank you CDave!

Helicopter crash in the fog or low clouds if I remember right.Totally avoidable. I remember when it came over the radio. Think is was on the "Johnboy and Billy Show" where I first heard it.

Used to listen to the radio driving tractors back then. No smart phones. Same thing with 9/11. Both floored me.

    Yep

Couple of our members here were there.

Concert was at a snow ski hill/mountain, in the summer time.

Was fogged in at end of concert.

Several copters there, only one chose to leave in the fog.
    His.

They were at the Alpine Valley music amphitheater about an hour from here, been there a couple times. There's no "mountain“... just a little hill they ski down, sadly the helicopter took off right into the side of it in the fog.

Let's just go ahead and make America great again!
