3.0L as well ...
BR8HS is the standard plug gapped @ .032" ish.
BR8HS-10 don't mean that there are 10 in the box , but that they are gapped @ 1 mm - ( .03937" )
I use the standard plug gapped at .028 - .030 in the 3.0L with their weak azz ignition system. In the hot holes, 5 - 6 I'll throw a 9 in those to help sleep at night ..

NGK Changes To Product Production
Is NGK no longer making the surface gappers because the outboard manufacturers (especially Merc) are now using gapped plugs on all of their new models?
I'm not sure that OMC ever did use surface gap plugs?
I have been using NGK gap electrode plugs in my Seadoo GTI 2 stroke Rotax for years with no problems (exceptional plug performance because the Rotax also fires the plug on the exhaust stroke). Only thing Seadoo recommends (because of the punishment) is to replace the plugs annually.

90% of the blocks that I weld and re-sleeve are damaged in the bottom two holes. I put the fattest two injectors in the bottom as well as a colder plug.
It's all we can really do to get a rack of plugs that all look the same. Mixture color on the nose, heat on the body, heat on the strap. Then tune to the worst offender by globally raising or lower the fuel pressure.

Always loved those surface gap plugs because they don't need adjustment and last forever, but next season I am going to try the BR8HS-10. I assume they will work in 2.0, 2.4, and 2.5s, correct? I have a few engines, not to mention an 80 hp 3-cyl.
Maybe the -10 means set at 1.0mm (.0039), but mine came from the factory at .035. Will they run good at that?

The 10 means the plug is pre gapped.
