    Aftermarket injectors

Has anyone had experience with aftermarket injectors? The price seems too good to be true. Is it worth the risk?

You sure don't have to buy injectors from Mercury... https://kinsler.com/Shop/product-cat...efi/injectors/

That's what I was thinking. Mercury injectors are cheaper than a rebuild.

Mercury doesn't make fuel injectors... they buy them from people like Bosch, mark them up 1000%, and put them in a Mercury box.

    300x

Has anyone bought injectors for a 300X from them with good results?

That is correct, but typically the part numbers only align with the OEM injectors (there are some exceptions). SO you have to replace with the same part number injector or you are playing with fire, unless that is you can remap the motor to match what you put in there.

If you know what you are doing you can put in another quality injector such as Injector Dynamics or FIC. But if the sole purpose is cost savings (which usually it is when we are having this discussion), then there is only 1 good solution. Buy a used set, and send them to me to be cleaned. or send the ones you currently have in. There is no such thing as a "cheap" injector.

noticed they are selling 2.5 racing "hose type" for $90 which is a smoking deal compared to Mercury prices..when i talked to Justin @kinsler he told me they were out of stock last summer and being they are obsolete now.
