If Trump can actually get a new nuclear power plant starting to be built in the US without cutting the regulations that keep it safe to operate, in spite of the fact it wouldn't be operational until at least 2035, It would go a long way for me to vote for his chosen successor, even as a Democrat.

Trumps imposed tariffs are a tax on the importing countries unless you are one of the product buyers living in the U.S. "then its up to you if you choose to buy the import for more". If you want to be competitive in the U.S. open market, you will need to produce your product withing the U.S. open market. Its pretty clear that jobs will be created as people are strongly urged to produce here if they want to sell here.

Canada is the US’s biggest export market. You run a manufactured good trade surplus with us. The overall trade is in our favour as the US imports a lot of Canadian oil. Didly squat fentanyl comes to the US from Canada. Same for migrants. Remind me again why a 25% tariff is a good idea.

America is in such a better place with Trump and his team then we have been and we are going to be leap years ahead of what things would have been if the people didn't offer Trump the landslide that they did.
