310 mile range, and charges to 80% in 30 mins. That is Miami to St. Augustine on a single charge. I think it'll be fine going out of town. What makes you think Elon of all people would allow such ridiculous yearly travel limits on his vehicles? For an SUV those are solid numbers, and try taking an SUV with any female more than 300 miles without having to stop anyways lol. Its a solid car, at some point the boomers are gonna have to admit it.

So, 30 minutes to go 248 miles in perfect conditions versus 4 minutes to fill my car with enough gasoline for 430 miles? Sounds great!
Let's just go ahead and make America great again!

EVOY makes a 300+HP Electric outboard. A 400+HP is coming in 2025. They also make inboard boats with up to 400+ HP. Like this one. The inboard powertrain is also available to retrofit into any boat. It can be connected to outdrives, Jet pumps or inboard shafts.

The 300hp outboard is over 1,000# without the battery... 4,500# with the 100 mile range (at 30 mph) battery pack. So 3000# heavier than a 300hp gas outboard with 100 miles (at twice the speed) of gasoline?
Seems like... we're not even close.
Let's just go ahead and make America great again!

battery density is so far behind liquid fuels its a joke, people are fooled by a car that uses very little power to roll down the the road at 55mph like 20hp so 20kwhr
The simple maths
go water skiing with a 100kw outboard for one hour at wot you use 100kwhr, thats a tesla 100kwhr battery that weighs over 1000lbs

Well 2 out 4 is not that bad!
Afordable to use? But maybe not buy
50 to 100nm at SLOW speed!
So you might aswell buy the 50hp high torque version and go about your business in a non planing way
Fast charging at the dock? Hmm it's already a problem for cars but you could place some solar panels on top of your bimini

Funny, all the people on this thread telling us how great the elec motors are are new people here, we never heard of.
Elec john???I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Elec John is more or less gone as a result of an ill considered bet. I wonder if he ever got his electric wakeboard boat.
It takes more CO2 to make an electric car than an ICE car. The payback can be relatively quick if the car is driven a lot and the volts are not coming from coal. I know with the amount my boats get used, the CO2 payback would be never. I am super interested in electric boat speed records, and completely uninterested in actually owning an electric boat with existing battery technology. Maybe when the delirium crystals get fine tuned…

You just wait .. 10 to 15 more years. The tards will import 50,000,000 more people who don't speak English to be elidable to vote as soon as they step into the US. Then they will force true Americans to buy their short trip electro-crap for whatever they want you to have to pay for it. Yep, they want a short leash you and I. With power shortages, your going to be given just so many charge credits per week.
Or .. you know what to do in November .. If you want to have a choice, then make the right choice ... FJB

Sounds like a real panacea...
"Unfortunately there’s a catch. The replacement rate of solar panels is faster than expected and given the current very high recycling costs, there’s a real danger that all used panels will go straight to landfill (along with equally hard-to-recycle wind turbines)."
Let's just go ahead and make America great again!

How old are you? They last 30 to 40 years, just not as efficient as they use to be, just like YOU.
