What motor and boat setup was this run on? Wondering how performance would compare to Rev4 23 or 25.

The motor is 400 Mercury Verado and Simmons Cat Boat. The prop performs good but not as good as a Bravo I. This prop would perform better on my boat with more lift by having a Mercury Racing engine. The Bravo performs better on my boat by having the prop more in the water verses bringing it out of the water. The bravo gives me more RPM thus more speed versus Max5. The Max5 prop would outperform the Bravo if I had a Mercury Racing engine. I do not have any comparisons between Rev4 and Max5.

    Reply back with any questions.

I was wondering if you were running a Verado. Great motor, but I hear people are running a few pitches lower to help it run the high rpms like 6500-7000.

My guess you run a Bravo xs 26?

    Thanks for the info.

I run Bravo FS 24.5 for getting up performance and speed and I use Bravo FS 25.5 for top end speed only. Both props get me to 6850 RPM Rev Limiter but the 25.5 goes a little faster. The Max5 also gets to 6850 but speed is about the same as a 24.5 Bravo. By looking at the roaster tail (which is not much with Verado Max5), the Max5 would go faster with a little more lift on the motor gaining more tail resulting in more speed.
