Yes, George died in 2013 at the age of 98

It was calm today for the first time since I started this thread. Trifecta again, and I did a 360 standing on the stool on the disk, outside the wake of my buddie's Regal. The Regal wake has a nice trough on the outside that the disk is stable in, and the Regal has perfect pass. Much as I love slalom behind our J Craft, the Regal is a better disk boat.

Never seen a disk before, thats kinda neat.

One of the main reasons I restored my Hydrostream was to use it as a ski boat agin. My nephew and I are learning to slalom ski and my dad(66) is back to barefooting agin.

    Lake life is awesome!

There is actually one of Banana George’s yellow Ski Nautique sitting in a field near Berlin Lake in Ohio I drive by it every weekend and I always say I should stop and take a look inside it

Barefoot water skier killed on Berlin Reservoir Berlin Center, Ohio. One day away from his 60th birthday a barefoot water skier doing a deep water long line start swung out too far hit tree half submerged in water massive internal injuries and cardiac arrest did him in. It is very very important when bare footing to survey your water in your run for floating objects and depth of water

That's a horrible story !! Has to be every footer's nightmare - hitting something on or just under the water.
