    HPDI Rebuild Issues

    I got my motor rebuilt high-pressure fuel pump rebuilt injectors sent off and professionally cleaned. My mechanic says it will IDLE great while trimmed up but as soon as he trims down it sputters and dies.
    Lots of suggestions from guys in the know
    Link an Sync, Clean an Replace filter in VST, LP fuel pump replacement, kinked fuel hose. Is there anything else I’m missing. Making a list for mechanic for things to check before I have to bring to dealer.

    Fixed isssue in VST. Went out and tested won’t rev above 3 k on 4 cylinders in forward but wil runs on all 6 in reverse and revs up. His software bit the dust waiting on replacement. Said he replaced Netutral safety switch and Shift position switch. Thanks

    Sounds like the shift switch is not adjusted correctly and not allowing the computer to recognize forward gear. Could be as simple as the shift cable adjustment. Does it want to grind when shifting into forward and not reverse?

    No grinding. Thinks he has it narrowed down to bad TPS, Installing tomorrow
