Ridgeback lower mount spacers
Looking to see if anyone has the thickness of the spacers of the lower mounting spacers needed on a ridgeback can? I think the part number is:23-42356 - SPACER,NLA

I made my own at 1/2” and they’re a tad too long, but it’s never been an issue….been running that way for 15 years. 3/8” is probably right on

My stack of washers is exactly 3/8. I think I will run it like that a few times and pull the lower and see if it is waring the driveshaft splines.

I Dont see how the spacers alter drive shaft alignment? the mid still mates flush to pwr hd? with adptor plates as a unit.. am i missing something?

With no power head and just the 3 bolts at the back of the plate into the mid there is a little bit of play and the original spacers are not available so just trying to get it correct. I agree, would be hard to have it that misaligned as you stated, but I can mess chit up with the best of them!

got ya. i had to add spacers, because when i tightened upper mounts [2 long bolts] the bottom plate[adaptor] wanted lift up at the rear.. like somethin out of square. maybe the ridgeback mid designed for a 1pc plate im thinkin. the added washers helped.
