    WTB: 2.4l 200

Does not need to be race prepped. It will be a recreational motor. Just needs to pass basic "health checkup": compression and leak down, no salt.

Preferably in the southwest. Otherwise would have to ship. But don't know how to ship. Open to suggestion on shipping.

    Thanks all.

Sorry I missed your question. I didn’t catch it somehow.

I don’t know. I haven’t found any. Not fresh water anyway. I’ve seen decent running salties with 120 on all six for $2k-$2.5k. I think I have spotted quite a price difference between the 2.4 and the 2.0. Which does not surprise me since they are the same form factor.

I can tell you now from personal experience having taken this 1983 2.4L finger port out for a quick test run...... there is NO comparison between a 2.0L 150 hp and these 2.4L 200 hp finger port engines.

This 2.4L 200 hp even in still stock form will run circles around my 1990 150.... and my 150 has milled Heads/Carson reeds, NO comparison !
