Lots on internet... 6 - 8 hours work, vibrates badly without. What else is there to know?

Let's just go ahead and make America great again!

I'm not sure why you would want to do this. Nearly every inline 4 motor has some sort of balancing system. They need it by design to eliminate vibration.

To add to my earlier post, oddly enough I actually had been looking at an F150 earlier in the morning that had a bad knock and vibration. I don't know what part took what out, but I figure it went like this. Balancer bearing went out, which killed the balancer gear. Once that happened the motor shook itself so hard it took out a rod bearing.

I have multiple F150's running without balance shafts. Can't feel any difference at speed. Tiny vibration at 15 to 2000. Try it. Take out the shafts, tap oil hole in balancer, plug with allen set screw. You will never buy that $400 piece of junk again.

What happens, the junk plastic gear wears down, the plastic clogs oil passages, rod bearings go. The balancer usually whines for a while before it goes. All the early ones failed, Yamaha re-called some. They have been updated a couple times over the years. Honda and Suzuki's use chains to drive.
