    Supporting a V-King

I just bought a V-King and the trailer has a total of 8 easy-rollers. The back 4 rollers are about 14" forward of the transom and the other 4 are about 24" further forward. There is a V support under the keel beneath the windshield. So 9 fairly small supports.

Should it be on bunks? If so where should they lie and how long should they be?

I use a two bunk trailer with the fwd keel resting on a v block. Bunks are 3”x6” rough cut lumber set vertically with carpet over. Keel is a combo of the same lumber as the bunks with a slight v cut into it. I use a pc of plastic board to cover the wood and make a slick surface for easy launch and retrieve been on this trailer for over 5 years no problem. My king does have a very strong bottom and the bunks contact the hull where the floor meets the hull

I used poly bunk covers on the wood and ran the outer ones longer so I could step up to get into the boat instead of the fenders. Makes it easier to wax the top of the cowl to.
