Mercury Trilobe Removal
Trying to get the trilobe pin out from the top of the power trim ram on a a 1989 80hp (same as the V-6's). It won't budge. The pin had been installed from the front, so the head is on the front. So far I've tried:
1) Some WD-40
2) Driving the pin forward with a nail set
3) Driving the shaft to the left and right to try to break the pin
What I have not tried so far are:
1) Heat
2) Removing the motor from the boat to get access to the head of the pin
Any good ideas?

Drilling did the job. Used a 3/16" cobalt bit and it chewed right through. Thanks for the good advice.
