Bud "Hstream1" Conner
A dear friend of mine and many on this board has informed me that he has been diagnosed with Stage Four Abdominal Cancer that is not treatable. Chemotherapy is out of the question as it will only make him sicker and probably kill him within a few days. His health will not allow him to respond to every single post so in all fairness he will not be responding to any. Over the years Bud has become family to me and mine. Always there, yeah, we're always fighting but that's our relationship. We love to pick on each other, he is very good at it. When my daughter had her cardiac arrest he was right there for us even traveling to his hated Jerseyland to attend her "rebirth" party. While he is not gone he will truly be missed. To quote him "I want to be remembered for being the brutally blunt sweet person that I am". I ask that we all please keep him in your prayers.

Thanks for the post. Bud is one of only three "heathens" and he will be sorely missed. Great guy and an asset to the site. Never got to meet him face to face but we talked on the phone on occasion and bought and sold parts to one another. A lot of us old guys will be gone soon so you youngins will have to fill the void. I'll be praying for you Bud. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

Wow!
Prayers to he and his family.
I remember him showing up on the S/F scene yrs ago and diving in head first, and w/both feet.
A class act from all Ive read!
Can’t even imagine.

You are in my prayers Bud. Always did a great job on my exhaust cans. Mental attitude is a BIG deal in your situation. My dad was told he would be dead 9 years ago and he continues the fight the fight everyday. Stay positive as possible and please let me know if there we can do from our side.
