If it was mine, I would have them replace the MAP sensor (or find a cheap used ECU) and run it for a while until you get it sorted out... it would suck to spend $$$ on an ECU and then find out you have other mechanical problems keeping it from performing.

Let's just go ahead and make America great again!

I don't want to give bad advice... just saying:
    A) buy ACU and throw your ECU in the dumpster
    B) fix ECU, test motor, sell working ECU for $$$ and buy ACU if the motor ends up being solid?

Let's just go ahead and make America great again!

    Hmmm
    thats an idea
Yes it would suck to repair/replace the ECU and it still not be fixed
At one point I did try to find and ECU but none were available that I could find

    I think I have a 2.5 150hp ECU. It came on a hurt engine I picked up.
Can't guarantee it works but if you want to try it, I'll send it to you

Man that’s super generous and I appreciate it but by the time I saw this I had already ordered the ACU from Brucato
As a final update my MAP sensor went bad while the boat sat during off season
We tested the boat today and it ran and started as good as it ever has, limited on time but we ran it about a mile with no hiccups, misses, or anything
I would like to thank everyone that tried to help throughout this
    Now
Its about time around my neck of the woods to start hunting crappie
    Thanks again!
