343 ... Thanks for the survival mode video ...

I had it set up .. ready to go before 333 walked in the door with his gym partner, the day before I went under the knife.

Mannnnn .. we were bustin on him for conkin out .. right in front of the camera ..

When I asked about runnin so fast .. up close to the rocks .. he said ... what rocks ..

All you guys are iron men for zippin up and down that narrow stretch for four hours. Mad respect ...

I'd love to see him step into a deep-V or Mod-VP with his running gear .. no way else to run with that Nordic .. thru the rough ..

There's probably 2 or 3 boats that can match the Nordic in speed. But it's hard for them to stay close in the first 5 laps or so because of the sloppy conditions. If you push your boat to early something may give at those speeds. If you try to save your equipment and wait for boats to break and conditions calm down you now have to chase the Nordic down or hope he breaks. No small task.
Us average boats are always rooting for the 333.

Got my Pop's move into his river house full time "Bandyland" secret testing grounds about 30 miles below Parker Az, last month. A lot of work.
It's a month out from the Enduro and my partner and long time friend was down this weekend to re-rig the Rampage. It was completely de-rig after discovering a wet transome before last year's race.
    Things completed.
New 8" Vance setback and mid mounted.
    Steering
    Trim pump
    Fuel pump.
Will back next weekend to finish the rigging and mount, break in and test Mr. Perry's promax.

Doesn't matter how long you plan it, it's always a scramble at the end. Best of luck Keith!

Thanks Keith. It's been fun and a challenge to find and rig a Mod-vp ski hull to run the Parker Enduro and hurt some feeling on the lower river. These Rampage's were not purpose-built race hulls and almost all were rigged for carrying people and towing skiers.

We started with a 1200lb boat minus engine and got it down around 850lbs by pulling everything out.
I believe the 850lb Mod-vp ski hull is what Racer had in mind when he and others were asked to help bring this class back.
Maybe Racer will chime in with some history?

We ran the Elsinore Enduro a few years back and with a 2.4 Mod-vp engine we hit the scales at 1350lbs with a carb motor.
We tested last year before the Enduro and with a 5 1/2" setback and the front tunnels extended we were able to carry our heavy bow better in smoother conditions with a stock 2.5 EE running around 85mph.
