    Painting and keeping bugs away??

    I'm getting ready to spray the hull of my 17 Action and am not sure on how to keep bugs away. I purchased a 13x24x10 ShelterLogic round top shelter to start with, but wanted to know what others are doing to keep bugs away. We're just coming into black fly season here in Maine and I'd hate to waste a bunch of Awlgrip. Thanks!

    I have used plastic sheet sprayed with cheap slow dry enamel and made large no pest panels. bugs seem to like white best.

    Thanks for the reply XstreamVking. When you say “sheet”, are you talking about the clear plastic sheet house painters use as a drop cloth?
