    Sealing Pressure Treated Plywood

I have the replacement trailer side platforms cut from 3/4" Pressure treated plywood (originals were 1/2") as recommended by a S&F Member, but I am wondering about sealing them especially the cut edge... Whats best... Thompsons water sealer, a good coating of marine oil base paint or what????

If your plywood was KDAT (which I doubt) you can use anything. Standard treated is usually wet, sometimes really wet, and it is hard for an oil base to stick to it. I would probably use Thompsons. Theoretically you should not have to use anything as it has been pressure treated.

Use pressure treated end cut coating.
it’s the same stuff the use to pressure treat the wood, only you brush it on.

I coated the cut ends with 3 coats of WoodLife Copper Coat, just wondering if I should coat the entire 7.5' x 1' section of 3/4" PT Ground Contact plywood with the WoodLife?
