    Cool Rigging 260

    Does anyone know what 8 pin harness I should use when I am rigging a mercury 260 EFI

    Not 100% sure what you're asking, but I rigged a 200xs, 225 promax, 300 promax and 280 all on the same boat with the same 8 pin harness. As far as I knew, there was only one and all the merc outboards i had used the same one.

    I just looked at my 260 wiring harness (OEM from Mercury) and it has a tag on it with the following part number: 84-816625A15.

    The last 2 numbers are the length of the harness. A15, A20, A25
