Reading about the guy who held a 2 hour standoff with police at a McDonalds for refusing to leave the drive thru line. The park n wait sections were intended for big orders or some other hold up in the kitchen. Instead, the have become convenient pass-by holding pens for workers who can't multi task or only do what they see on a monitor screen. After waiting 10 minutes or more to be processed thru a drive thru line, I refuse to cooperate with being directed to a holding pen only to be forgotten about my order where they can take up to 20 minutes to come out to my car with my order. Sometimes, the meal has gotten cold by then! Drive thru service was NEVER intended to be used this way.
