Hello from Charleston SC
I grew up on Greenwood Lake in NY and my family had a few "quasi" speedboats (overpowered bowriders)
My first boat that was actually mine was a GW Invader 10 foot 2 seater with a 40 Johnson
Looking for something to run in the Charleston harbor
everything for sale here is a Center Console..... its fishing central here
Johnif the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter - and unsafe.

Welcome , love Charlie Stone ( as my hispanic shipmates called it ) you have some great hip radio stations there , herd people being played before they went mainstream. used to make a run there daily from Jax , Beautiful town. so whats wrong with a sexy fast center console ? Hooters has all the fish I need , don't get me wrong , if I had the time ( which I plan on before I croak ) I am intreaged by the clear water off shore and seeing the fish before they are in the boat. the big craze these days are big center console party craft that can go fast and carry a bunch of friends Fun Out
most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

I can see why the center consoles are popular with those who fish, though they seem to be more expensive than a similar size and power dual console option
I like the idea of more seats, more shade and maybe even a small cabin
I want it all, speed, low fuel burn, big gas tank, cabin with a potty for the girlfriend, and fits in the garage with a folding trailer hitch
We are new to Charleston but really like it, except for the traffic and insane house prices and even crazier dockage ratesLast edited by azsportpilot; 05-13-2022 at 03:20 PM.
