    Plug wire fit

I have a good set of plug wires on my 496, but they’re not what I consider a custom fit. Considering the cost of new wires, and the likelihood they wouldn’t be a better fit, is there available terminators and tooling out there to produce my own fit?

I used a couple of sets of Moroso wires recently on old mustangs with 289’s. Was very pleased with them. Used the hei terminal ends on MSD dizzy’s. By the way... They call plug wires that have a 45° bend in them 135° FWIW.

I used to own a 496HO and I bought MSD wires for close to $300 and that was a custom made set that fit well and I only had to install them. You used to be able to order a set from NAPA for a Volvo 496 Marine engine for about $150 but that was 3 years ago. You can order wires from MSD with one end made up and you cut and install the other end. They give you a small crimping die if you do not have the pliers. I think 4 of the 8 wires are one length and the other 4 are the other length if I recall correctly.
