.
yeah agreed.
When I stepped inside the hull for the first time, my first check was if the flooring had any soft spots, and with my (heavy body) weight, I found none
then I proceeded to checkout the transom and hull-bottom with a knock test and that proved to be good
I was told the owner had gotten sick and the boat was left in the garage only to take it out when it was placed in Craigslist...
the motor is good also, not frozen , don't know what to do with the motor since I already have a new 90 Yami
the screw I removed from the floor was encapsulated in a rubber tube. don't know how they did that yet. I will tell the riggers for the 90 Yamaha not to screw anything on the floor...inside the console I will provide a platform to screw down the batteries, etc.

.
If I install the motor, would any part of the warranty become void?

Noli,
Motors are supposed to be shipped to and installed by a certified dealer or vendor. If a claim is questioned due to installation procedure, you might get hung out.
