Thumbs up 21 Liberator 300R Video Test

Took a video the other day testing a Mercury Racing 32 CNC Cleaver, which the 300R took right to the limiter with ease. 6% slip is great being a true 32 pitch prop. 18 gallons of fuel on board. Hope to get my hands on a 34 soon. 35-100mph in about half a mile, 20.5 seconds. Not too bad for a family boat. Between the bigger motor, stereo system, additional AGM batteries, I added over 200 lbs with this new setup and it is already running faster than the modified Etec setup. Mid range and top end is night and day, even with these monster props. Turn up the volume and enjoy.

I also own a 21 lib with a 300r, I see you put wedges under motor, did it help the hole shot? I enjoyed your video, they ride great don't they!

Boy set up looks to be on point! She was humming along, look great, sounded great. Never thought I'd see a Mercury on your boat

What speeds were you seeing with the ETEC you ran on it ?

Fastest I got the Etec was 102mph which was 200+ lbs lighter than the boat is now.

With a 34 CNC Cleaver I'm confident 110+ is doable with the 300R. I went up to Mercury Racing today to get a few more props to test. Couldn't ask for better support from them.

I've never not had the wedges but I'm sure they do help. I also just added an enlarged drag plate.

You will get there. My 22 Liberator 300R, 1.75 gear ratio, 34 Hill 5 blade cleaver ran 111 down here in the SWFL heat and humidity. Good Luck

Get rid of those AGM batteries and get Dakota lithiums (1000 CCA) and you'll pick up another few mph.......your boat runs REALLY good.

Thank you! I agree with you 100%, but I'm not taking any chances with this high amp alternator the new V8s come with. Until there is a BMS with resistance to limit the charging amps, I'll use AGM. The battery system I ran before on the Etec was as good as it gets. I still have the Braille Lifepo4 batteries on the shelf. Dakota would be at the bottom of my list for a cranking battery anyhow. A supercap hybrid battery I have will be the first change I go to. I will have new props on Monday to test. Hope to out up some good numbers. I've been testing for acceleration this past week.

Went up to Fond du Lac this morning. Picked up a few more props to test.....and maybe a boat. Lol. Hope to get out the next couple days and get more data. Going to try some round ear cleavers. I did also run the river yesterday. Didn't get up to top speed but it was a great ride.

They take the 5 Blade CNC Cleaver, round the tips, then add some cup. We are trying to get the cavitation out of the hole to a minimum, without giving up the top end. Lots of new Eliminators are using this prop. Click image for larger version.

Sorry but I sold/gave away all my Etec stuff.
