sponson support stringers removed. Everything getting a thorough sanding and additional fasteners added. Few new pieces being fabbed and added in. Recreated the rotten sponson tip. everything was test fitted first, then glued into place. Good time to get a coat of epoxy resin on everything to help this old boat live another 50 years.

Are you making a new transom from scratch? Gonna love to see how you form upper cockpit deck curvature like Ronnie did? Soak in water and let it sit in the sun down there?

Did you "trace" the profile using the old one? What are you using for a ply stack?

Pulled the original transom out in one piece, using it as the template. Will be two layers of 3/4 marine play just like the original.

see I am really not kidding about the new transom in place......

Probably be too heavy without those 174 holes in it like the old transom had...

Severed a tendon on the side. Complicated surgery to fix. Much better now. Sucks to get old.
