Looking for a pair of 20" or even 25" 225,250 or 300hp Mercs
I want to re-power my 25 foot Checkmate Convincer ... my budget is around 10k maybe go to 15k for the right ones .. prefer 2 stokes.. but would consider 4 strokes although they seem real heavy. I will use the boat more in the inter-coastal around Fort Lauderdale in no wake zone so maybe the weight is not so much of an issue.. and they are cleaner and less noise involved.. The boat may seem big for that...but I still want to be able to take it on the outside some time .. On the outside chance the wind ever stops blowing down there long enough to get out of the inlet alive...lol
