I have a poke tender loin stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon, but decided to eat pasta, ground venison, and mushrooms.
I'll just say, it did not suck!

I love ham and pineapple.
Even on pizza! No tomato sauce, just cheese, ham, and pineapple.

That looks wonderful!!! What brand of smoker/grill? I have been wanting a pellet smoker/grill. They have them now to where you just set the temperature and time, and let it rock.
I used to deep fry them in peanut oil.. After I injected a bunch of Cajun garlic butter in them.
Also have eaten them boiled in crab boil. That was so good and different! Especially with potatoes and onions thrown in.

It's a masterbuilt gravity feed charcoal grill, I burn Canadian oak lump exclusively. I had a few cheap offset grills before I stepped up to this unit 2 years ago. I use it a lot, 2-3 times per week on average including winter, and I really like it. Comes up to temperature as quickly as a gas grill, can burn hotter than pellets, but can set a temperature (bbq internal or meat probe) and forget about it as long as the hopper is full and all the switches are closed lol... Our power went out for 5 days in the spring and that was the longest I've gone without using it, kinda sucked actually, probably the only downfall is that it needs power. After 2 years i still dont have creosote in the hopper, the firebox walls are still intact, and it's just developed a bit of an air leak, so shutting it down takes a little longer and it burns a bit more charcoal after shut down. Still more efficient than the offsets i had used previously. This turkey was just brushed with olive oil and black pepper every hour, nothing special, but turned out amazing.
