He took a hammer to a prop and broke it. It's on him.
I've bought a few used props that were in "great" condition to find they've been welded, repaired, and or cracked after an hour of run time. Chalk it up to learning I guess. I didn't go after people, just ate it and have some expensive garage art now.'78 Hydrostream Viking/'98 225 ProMax

Heres what i think..
If i weld something, and i am not sure of the metal, or the alloy composition, and just fire right off into it, and blow a big giantic hole in whatever im doing...
Whos fault is it? Mine or my employers? Mine or the welding company's machine?
He clearly did not, or does not know what he is doing, to brake a blade..
This is 100000% on him, and not on you, and unfortunately, ebay will side with the buyer and he will get all of his money back... unfortunately.

Well maybe he was going to re sell it for a customer friend ect but he messed it up now he’s holding with the money to be made and he’s out he can get it mig welded and re work it it’s his art project / Look you buy an camaro and flair the fenders then the new tires don’t fit you think the place you bought the car from will give your money Back for your art work ??? …Or did he swap out a messed up prop and kept your good one !?!?
