1976 Evinrude 75 shortshaft EP/SE outboard, totally rebuilt (powerhead, swivel bracket, gearcase), many new parts. Comes with OMC Racing break-in instructions (30 min. at variable speed). New fuel pump, new crank, new rings, 2 new pistons (rebored), new crank seals and rod bearings, new gears and gearcase seals, new impeller kit. Motor was started and run briefly on a stand. Can be crated by a friendly dealer for $150, buyer arranges shipping if shipping is desired. $3300 with wiring harness and OMC key switch.

I sold the motor for $3750 with a new Booe 12x22.5 prop (the prop was designed for SST60 Class). I did not rework the prop, I only trimmed the diameter. The motor will be mounted on a 12' Laser boat. The Johnson 60 shortshaft, an SD motor, was sold last spring. So the only racing motors left here are our 1979 Stinger (in service on the May Fly III) and a rebuilt and refinished 1975 Evinrude 75, which is on display in our garage. That's it for the 1970s era OMC racing motors.
