That's what I was thinking. Buddy just sold a Euro with 280 and it scared the guy so he relisted within a couple weeks. And that would have been a lot easier to drive than a pad v with 280!

I feel strongly the GS is one of the hardest to balance and drive. . . . but wow it's amazing when it all comes together!!! Favorite boat i've ever owned once i learned to fly it! crazy how getting to the pad is sooo hard and first, then after you get it, you wonder how it was ever hard and you're rushing to get it on the pad so it starts to fly, haha!!

Just an FYI-the guy who bought the boat from me is indeed selling it. He says he has an opportunity to buy a nice piece of land and could use the cash to complete the purchase. Says it came up suddenly and is an opportunity he could not pass up.

For what it is worth, I'm not upset. I am inclined to believe him as that is how I try to live in this here uncertain world. Maybe I am mistaken and he is flipping it but I doubt it. He owns other Allison's so is can handle the boat. He did contact me and offer to sell it to me or any of my friends for what he paid for it. So.....there is that. Anyway, maybe I sold it too cheap as it sold so quick but I got my price and it was about what I paid for it 21 years ago so I cant feel too bad about that.

I already miss the boat (as Mr. Sufka predicted I would) but I am satisfied with my decision and know I can buy one down the road if I so choose. Who knows, maybe another new one like the one I just sold.

Anyway, stay safe out there on the water fellas.

Thanks Mike but evidently I am too dumb as well. As it is indeed looking like Chris Daniels "flipped" my boat. He just posted that he bought an STV. He told me he needed the funds to buy some land but sure doesn't look that way to me. Oh well, that is his business and in our world you are free to do as you wish but........not the way I operate.

Anyway, you and my wife were right! Guess she proved once again she is smarter than me.

I don't understand this mindset.

It's irritating to see guys drive prices up on our hobby. Flippers annoy me because of this. We can agree on that part.

But, as irritating as they are, dude asked for a certain price for his boat, someone else bought it and felt they could get more, why would he be expected to share that profit with the previous owner who could have gotten it himself?
