    New 26’ Velocity twin OB!

    Gorgeous!

Aint cheap but if you have to ask…..

Has to be a 100 mph boat w/that power.

They have a 29 listed too.

Both a little too pimped out for my style clearly I am not their intended demographic

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Agreed. I think the rear qtr camera angle and the paint scheme really exaggerate the stubby look. With the front half white and the rear various colors it breaks it in two, making it look short. Not a good paint scheme IMO. Interior looks kind of silly with the speaker overkill.

Nice boat though and sure it runs strong with 600hp. Nice cabin too.

Not bashing on Velocity. Happy to see any high performance brands make a comeback, but.... what's the deal with the stripes not matching up from the hull sides to the top cap? That's crazy. It's like they painted them completely separately??

Glad to see these guys putting boats into the market. There were several fast (100 mph+) 26 Velocity hulls running around W. Michigan in the early and mid 90s.

I ran next to the orange 29 with 400ROS motors at the toys for tots run. We were "door to door" thru 25 miles of turns and straights from Lk. George all the way back to Palatka at 93 mph (great run). Boat turned really well at those speeds (I always get nervous with a V-bottom on the inside of me)--had two bad experiences in the past.

Scott has been doing a great job and it's great to seem them thriving (and not relying on the center console craze). Was able to get a tour of the factory a couple months back and they are slammed. I know the 29SC with full cabin ran 93 with 300's, so I'm sure this one will run 100.

If you haven't seen it yet, check out the new black carbon fiber 29 VR1 w/ twin 450's. Boat is absolutely gorgeous and is a rocket. Speeds are anticipated in the 120 range.
