Props
Would appreciate any feedback on the best high performance prop for bow lift. Currently have several Promax props but have too much stern lift. Had the barrel cut down on one and helped but wondering if there is a better option. Have a 28 and 30 and running on a Bullet XRS with 300xs. Thanks!

I run a 28p signature eagle 4 blade on my 20' bullet with 200hp and it runs good without much trim.
Bravo would be good also. Bass Boat Central has some setup info on their site.
Is your boat loose, or just won't carry the bow?

Onpad- what speed/rpm are you getting with the signiature? I have a 20' lake and bay backwater with 250hp SHO Yamaha. I've heard the Bullet's are very fast boats.

Best I've seen is 74 mph at about 59 to 6 thousand rpm, with 1.87 gears. I'm running about 2 1/2" above the bottom of the boat, with a 12 or 14" plate. Can't recall which.
I've tried a 26p fury, 26p trophy, 28p signature eagle 3 blade, and a 26p v6 chopper all above props have to be dropped down on the plate to get enough bite and are still spinning in the mid 6 thousand rpms, and run slower mph.
My speed doesn't really jive with what people claim at Bass Boat Central, but the bottom of my boat is beat up, due to the previous owners. I've done some repair, but it needs more.
When I bought the boat it had a 225 EFI. Between the condition of the bottom of the boat, soft motor mounts, and no nosecone, it was almost undrivable. Actually had it blow out once.

I think the specs say something like 1100-1200lbs.

If you can borrow a big ear chopper over hub prop you might be surprised at how much bow lift a chopper generates.

I have a bunch of choppers and they all behave so different. I think it’s because of age and prop shop work over time but the ones with lots of tailing edge cup really lift well and carry high and fast on my streams. A bit hands full to drive but I really like that it’s fun

My Hoss Cut Chopper carries the bow very well in my Allison with very little positive trim. Have a few clips of it in this video. You can see from the rooster tail that there is not a whole lot of positive trim being used. The last two passes in the video have two people in the boat. https://youtu.be/rIox1DB2jVc?t=489
